This 4UAD 4UANTUM Gear grease is specifically designed for use in AEG gearboxes.
The grease has a special formula to retain it's viscosity and sticky-ness during operation. Where as other common lubricants get flung off when heated up during operation, this grease is formulated to retain it's viscosity and stick to the gears consistently.
This improves long term reliability and prevents the grease from transporting to other parts of the gearbox that should remain clean, such as optical sensors on AEG ETU's.
I use this grease myself for AEG gears and can confirm it works as intended, though any excess grease can still get flung off. So make sure to only use what you need.
The grease contains molybdenum sulfide particles, which are particularly good at retaining low friction properties in high-load scenarios, such as the gear teeth contact areas.
The 4UAD 4UANTUM Gear grease comes in a handy pen format, that makes it easy to apply in small amounts and hard to reach areas.
It is safe to use with most parts, but we recommend it mainly for usage on gears only. Please see the other 4UAD lubricants for products appropriate for cylinder set.
